Eric Wilson
It’s hard to describe someone like Eric. There are countless stories about his wit, his intelligence and his silly, but wonderful sense of humor. He was the man everyone looked up to, even though he was only 5’4”.
He loved to tell stories - even if they weren’t always completely factual - but the truth is, it’s hard to tell his story because he was always a little bit mysterious. He only allowed everyone to see little bits of him at a time, and it wasn’t until after he passed and we talked to so many people that he touched that we learned why.
He didn’t share all of himself because he was selfless. Eric showed parts of himself to different people depending on what they needed. His relationships with everyone differed because he wanted to make everyone feel special - and he did.
It’s not possible to describe his tenacity, bravery and strength. There are no words to explain how his smile lit up a room, or how he was always willing to do anything for the people in his life.
Eric is irreplaceable in our lives and in our hearts, but we’re hoping this cause will keep him a little bit closer while we spread smiles to those who deserve them the most.
